Confident Investor comments: At this price and at this time, I do not think that a Confident Investor can confidently invest in this stock. It is not possible to confidently invest in the stock of a company that is not currently profitable.
This is very dated. Chicos FAS (CHS) turned to a profit some time ago and has significant momentum in it’s earnings. Review it’s last 5 quarters.
Obviously, companies have the ability to improve their ratings. As of this comment, the above analysis is about 8 months old. CHS has improved their bottom line and that is the first step in them becoming a viable investment for a Confident Investor. Even with their recent improvements though, they still rank as a Poor Company. They have problems with their per employee metrics, the EBIT growth, their P/E growth and EPS growth. There are far better companies to consider for an investment.
