Lately, there has been a lot of talk about the market being overpriced. This really doesn’t matter to a Confident Investor because we aren’t invested in the market, we are invested in individual companies and we watch them to make sure that the herd mentality of the market doesn’t move against us.

Even in bad economies, the Confident Investor Rating – Good companies should continue to be good companies to own. If they aren’t then they will quickly drop from the Good category to the Fair or Poor category!

You cannot confidently buy a company that is not profitable. For this reason, companies like the Wendy’s Arby’s Group have traditionally not been available to a Confident Investor.  News that the company is now profitable means that we can start to look at it as another investment option.
