Seneca Foods Corporation is a producer and distributor of processed fruits and vegetables. The Company’s product offerings include canned, frozen and bottled produce and snack chips and its products are sold under private label, as well as national and regional brands that the Company owns or licenses, including Seneca, Libby’s, Aunt Nellie’s Farm Kitchen, Stokely’s, Read and Diamond A. It packs Green Giant, Le Sueur and other brands of canned vegetables, as well as select Green Giant frozen vegetables for General Mills Operations, LLC. As of March 31, 2011, its facilities consisted of 21 processing plants located throughout the United States, two can manufacturing plants, two seed processing operations, a small farming operation and a limited logistical support network. In August 2010, it acquired 100% of the partnership interest in Lebanon Valley Cold Storage, LP and the assets of Unilink, LLC (collectively Lebanon) from Pennsylvania Food Group, LLC and related entities.
