Chicago Bridge & Iron Company N.V. (CB&I) provides a range of services to customers in the energy infrastructure market across the world. The Company provides various services, such as conceptual design, technology, engineering, procurement, fabrication, modularization, construction, commissioning, maintenance, program management and environmental services. It operates through four segments. Its Engineering and Construction segment provides engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services. Its Fabrication Services segment provides fabrication and erection of steel plate structures; fabrication of piping systems and process modules, and manufacturing and distribution of pipe and fittings. Its Technology segment provides licensed process technologies and catalysts for use in petrochemical facilities and oil refineries. Westinghouse Electric Co. is moving to shore up its nuclear-power business by buying out a construction partner it has blamed for problems at the four reactors now being built in the U.S.

The company said it would pay $229 million to buy the nuclear construction division of Chicago Bridge & Iron Co. [stckqut]CBI[/stckqut] Westinghouse and CB&I had been equal partners in building the massive reactors that Westinghouse designed.

The market was generally good last week and should be good this week as well. More concern is on geo-political events that could cause a pullback. There is a very good chance that the week will be flat so individual stock choices will be important.

The market was generally good last week and should be good this week as well. More concern is on geo-political events that could cause a pullback especially since this is the anniversary week of 9/11 and therefore everyone will be expecting something traumatic. There is a very good chance that the week will be flat so individual stock choices will be important.

In addition to the disclaimer, the stocks mentioned may have changed value from the time I wrote this to the time that you are reading it; therefore, the conclusions below may no longer be valid. The analysis on any investment indicator is always a short-term thought and just by being in this list the stock already is a long-term Good Company  or Fair Company and made my Watch List. If you are looking for long-term analysis of the stock, you should look for the stock in the company list that appears to the far right.
