NCR Corporation (NCR) is a technology company. NCR operates in three segments: Americas; Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). It provides financial institutions, retailers and independent deployers with financial-oriented self-service technologies, such as ATMs, cash dispensers, and software solutions. NCR provides self-service kiosks to the retail and hospitality, travel and gaming, healthcare and entertainment industries and also owns and operates self-service kiosks in the entertainment industry. Its retail-oriented technologies include point of sale (POS) terminals, bar-code scanners, software and services. NCR also provides Check and Document Imaging and printer consumables. On October 15, 2010, NCR acquired Mobiqa Limited. During 2010, it made 1% minority investment in ViVOtech Inc.; 17% minority investment in Document Capture Technologies Inc. (DCT), and 8% minority investment in MOD Systems Inc.

Confident Investor comments: When I first reviewed this company on this site, the company was not profitable so I had to label it as a poor company.  It has now returned to profitability so I have re-analyzed the company for you. At this time, I think that a Confident Investor can cautiously invest in this stock as long as the price is correct. Most of the fundamentals of this company are good but there are some concerns.
