First Financial Bancorp is a regional bank holding company. The Company, through its wholly owned subsidiary, First Financial Bank, National Association (the Bank), is engaged in the business of commercial banking, and other banking and banking-related activities. The range of banking services provided by First Financial to individuals and businesses includes commercial lending, real estate lending, and consumer financing. The Company also offers deposit products that include interest-bearing and non-interest-bearing accounts, time deposits and cash management services for commercial customers. Its Wealth Management division offers a range of trust and asset management services. The Company offers a variety of loans, including commercial lines of credit, commercial term loans, real estate, construction, home equity, consumer and other loans. First Financial also offers lease and equipment financing through a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bank, First Financial Equipment Finance LLC.
Confident Investor comments: At this time, I think that a Confident Investor can cautiously invest in First Financial Bancorp as long as the price is correct. Most of the fundamentals of this company are good but there are some concerns. I am taking this company off of my Watch List as its performance doesn’t match the other investments that are possible.
