The market is not overly healthy right now. You should be cautious with your investments. There are still some good players out there and I expect this coming week to be slightly positive. Some analysts think we will be down for most of August and maybe into September. My expectation is that it will be generally flat. Cash is king right now so look for bargains!

As always, my thoughts should only be used for educational purposes and any decision by the reader to use this information is subject to my disclaimer. In addition to the disclaimer, the stocks mentioned may have changed value from the time I wrote this to the time that you are reading it; therefore, the conclusions below may no longer be valid. The analysis on any investment indicator is always a short-term thought and just by being in this list the stock already is a long-term Good Company  or Fair Company and made my Watch List. If you are looking for long-term analysis of the stock, you should look for the stock in the company list that appears to the far right.

The market was generally good last week and should be good this week as well. More concern for geo-political events that could cause a pullback. There is a very good chance that the week will be flat so individual stock choices will be important. Look for a spike or drop on individual stocks this week and the next couple as quarterly earnings are released.

The market was generally good last week and should be good this week as well. More concern is on geo-political events that could cause a pullback. There is a very good chance that the week will be flat so individual stock choices will be important.

The Boston Beer Company, Inc. (Boston Beer) is a craft brewer in the United States. During the year ended December 31, 2011, Boston Beer sold approximately 2.5 million barrels of its products (core brands) and brewed or packaged approximately 13,000 barrels under contract (non-core brands) for third parties. During 2011, the Company sold over fifty beers under the Samuel Adams or the Sam Adams brand names, seven flavored malt beverages under the Twisted Tea brand name, three hard cider beverages under the Angry Orchard brand name and one hard cider under the HardCore brand name. Boston Beer produces malt beverages and hard cider at Company-owned breweries and under contract arrangements at other brewery locations. The Company-owned breweries are located in Boston, Massachusetts (the Boston Brewery), Cincinnati, Ohio (the Cincinnati Brewery) and Breinigsville, Pennsylvania (the Pennsylvania Brewery). During 2011, the Company launched the Angry Orchard brand family.

Did you invest at the bottom of the financial crisis? This happened in March 2009. If you did invest at the bottom, you would have enjoyed a massive multi-year bull market.

The above video does a great job of pointing out the benefits of simply investing in an index fund in the equity market. It also points out the fallacy of just leaving your money in a savings account.
